I am assuming by your screen name you are talking about a 69 GMC. It really would help to know that info, but I'll tell you this no matter what year it is. If your looking to get enough drop from just cutting coils your asking for too much.

The most you want to cut from 67-72 stock springs is 1 coil. Some have cut 1.5 coils but that's still not going to get you low enough to match up with a flip. Your going to need spindles too.

Re: ? flipped the axle how much to cut front coils to level out

cut my coils today two full coils gave me about 4.5 in. in the front, with the axle flip and cut coils i am really close to being level, 28'' from concrete to highest part of the fender on the front and 28 1/4 on the back so pretty close

Did you notch your frame along with the flip? 2 coils is alot, its going to ride like crap.

2 cut coils 5" drop
alittle more bumpy than
1 cut coil but tolerable

you must be a supporting member to make posts involving for sale, wanted to buy, and what's it worth in the classified section.

but, you do not have to be a supporting member to buy from the classified section.

here is a link about becoming a supporting member...well worth the $25 IMO
