Red face 350 won't start

Hi d13 and thanks, i have a new type of balancer (liquid) installed the markings are much different than the orig one. The engine doesn't run. Am moving the dist. by hand. When i take the dist out, which way do i move the gear counter or clock is it facing up and down? I have the 1 wire at 530. Should i move the wires to start at 630 first? Thanks in advance

I think you are talking about plug wires, are you trying to get it timed? If so #1 can be place anywhere on your cap. Give us a little more info on what you are trying to do, then I think we can help you..
