Broken Spring
While working on my truck, I inspected my leaf spring packs due to a left side sag. Sure enough, I have a broken spring. It is the second longest in a 4 spring pack. So here is the question.
Where can I find individual spring leafs? I already found new complete sets for around $275 + shipping. Gaha! I am not sure I can go that much right now. Looking for cheaper, but good alternatives.

Re: Broken Spring
Google a spring company in your area. Besides a salvage yard, your best bet is to have one made.

Re: Broken Spring
I don't know that I would want to replace just 1 spring on something the age of our trucks. These things tend to be sagging by now and I would worry that putting only 1 spring on would cause an awkward stance, which could translate into issues with handling.

Re: Broken Spring
I don't think I would replace just one either. It is a bit more work, but I think I would replace the same leaf on both sides. This will give you the best chance of it sitting level.

Re: Broken Spring
One on each at the least. I was just not wanting to go $275 plus shipping. Saving up the pennies for another project. Does it ever end?
