I have a booster off a 78 im working on now. Looks like your going to need to lengthen the rod from the booster to the pedal (aprox 1") and drill 2 new holes for the mounting.

Yea I think it would but wouldn't you want to watch out for the 67 & 68 years because they have 4 wheel drums which made the master cylinders different? I could be wrong, I just thought they were different? Can anyone say for sure?

Thanks gmcblu. And yes I meant drums, hey it's a little past my bedtime at 1:17. Sorry. I thought that after 68, they went to front discs and five lug rotors?????? Was there any way you could just get discs as an option until '71?

Okay can someone list the website where it describes all the changes in the 67-72 as General Motors made them??? I need to read that frickin' thing again. I forget like everything I read. Frickin' pot; good thing I quit. I'm dumb enough as it is.

I set my body onto a 77 chassis so I'm using a 67 booster adn master. The 77 had disks and drums back in 86 when I did this. In 95 I went to disks in the back so I'm running 4wheel disks (3/4 ton) now. I have never had any problems with my brakes and have replaced the master once about 2 years ago. Brakes work very good. I was going to a newer booster and master (one for 4wheel disks) a few years ago but decided against it because this is working fine.

and I'm running the stock 67 booster and master cylinder with a disc brake Dana 44 up front. My brakes work fine also. I still wonder if I need to get a proportioning valve from something newer but haven't done it yet.

I've ridden in a friends truck that did the conversion, 73-87 booster to 67-72 truck, and it felt like the smaller double diaphram design works better then the single lever system. It also cleans up the firewall. I never understood the GM mentality behind the huge bracket, levers, and angle mounting of the old boosters.
