The 71 is finally back at home after a 13 month hiatus at the body shop. It still needs fine tuning and I have lots more small projects for her but she looks great and is driveable and enjoyable again
still working on. 1. new PB booster and master cylinder 2. seat belts and rear seat 3. Wheels and Tires 4. New drive lines 5. just found out needs new front axle (or repaired) 6. stereo installed and custom center console built 7. and???? Here's the pics!!!

Re: BLAZER IS DONE!!! (well sorta)
Beautiful!
OK..... What size tires? What size lift kit? What size motor? What size gears? Where did you get the hood, it looks like it fits really nice. Are those factory mirrors? Just a few questions ;-)

Re: BLAZER IS DONE!!! (well sorta)
OK.....
What size tires? 35X12.50X16.5 What size lift kit? 4" Suspension 2" body and all new bushings also turned the rear leafs around to move the axles back in the wheel wells which I highly recommend gave me an extra 2" of clearence to the sharp corner of the fender(the 4" lift seems like 4.5-5 cause I replaced a 4" lift and it was higher than before) What size motor? GM crate 350 300HP What size gears? 4.56 Gears with Posi-traction Where did you get the hood, it looks like it fits really nice. GM Goodmark hood Are those factory mirrors? Yes, not perfect but nice originals not repop

Re: BLAZER IS DONE!!! (well sorta)
I upgraded the crate engine when I had it out with edelbrock Intake Cam and lifter package, alum roller rockers and gear drives. I have new billet aluminum pullies and mounting brackets for the alt and PS pump that I need to install still.

Re: BLAZER IS DONE!!! (well sorta)
The large MT Autowerx logos were put on by the guys that did the body and paint, least I could do for the great job they did for the low price they did it for. Traded them time 13 months for getting it done for $3500 anywhere else I went quoted me $5500 up to $8000 and probably would not have done as much work as these guys did for me. So if you are in the Portland area and need body and paint I highly reccomend these guys.

Re: BLAZER IS DONE!!! (well sorta)
Very nice.
Here is my build: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=323444 I'm running a 383 stroker with 35" tires and 373 gears through a TH350. I haven't had it running yet so I'm curious to see how that combo works. It's not supposed to be an interstate racer ;-) I put Skyjacker Soft Ride 4" lift on it and trimmed the front fenders a little to prevent rubbing should I ever get it bouncing that hard. Your build looks great.....very nice blazer. I plan on running topless....gonna sell my hard top and go for one of those soft tops they are making in Boulder, CO. Hopefully mine will be running in a week...not on the road but at least running...I wanna hear it run! And summer is almost here....from what I hear anyway.

Really really nice, now build a garage for it.
Curious to hear how you like the 4:56/35" tire combo. |

I like the 35s w/ 4.56 when I buy new wheels and tires might go to 37s. I can burn them off with the 300HP motor and it launches like a bat outta Hell and cruises good at 65MPH wouldn't drive for to long over 70 but then again with the over sized tires I probably am doing 70.

Re: BLAZER IS DONE!!! (well sorta)
Looks really good. My 1970 K5 is almost ready for outside paint. I put a 350 290hp Jegs Edlebrock and it sounds great. I guess it will last. I only have 28000 miles on vehicle. Of course it is red also. I went with black insides. Can you show some interior pics?
