keeping rear bags from over extending

This might have been covered already but couldnt find anything. What does everyone us to keep there rear air bags from over extending. I just have stock trailing arms with air bags in the coil springs place. thank you for the advice.

That task is usually performed by the rear shocks. I have seen folks use limiting straps too, but it's not very common.

as started above in most cases the shocks are set up to keep the bag from over extending. but limiting straps would work. got some pics of your set up? maybe we could give some better suggestions after taking a look at what ya got going on man.

Are they over extending from rebound or from filling? If it's from filling you need to look at your plumbing the rear is going to require less pressure than the front.

Thanks for the help im consernd about the rebound. i guess i need to get diffrent shocks then or were can you get limiting straps from?

you can get limiting straps from summit or jegs or if you have a local performance or 4x4 shop they should be able to get them. they are used alot in the off roading scene.

I prefer to use Limit Straps. I don't think using the shock is the best idea, because overextending them can damage them just as much as a bag.
