Parting a 1966 Chevrolet Panel
I just picked up a 66 panel this weekend. I was thinking of fixing it up, but have since come to the conclusion that rust has completely engulfed the truck, it isnt salvageable. However, there are a number of good parts on it. The dash is complete and uncut. The hood is in good shape only surface rust. It has factory bucket seats, all of the mounting hardware is there. The seats are in pretty good condition.
I cant ship big stuff like the hood or seats, so that kind of stuff will have to be pickup only, but I will ship smaller stuff. Hit me with a PM if you are looking for anything. My digital camera is broken, hopefully I'll have a new one soon. If you want a pic of something, I'll borrow a camera. Thanks is advance,

Re: Parting a 1966 Chevrolet Panel
Sorry to bump so quick, I just wanted to clear a few things up.
The body on this is completely shot. The only panel that doesnt have gaping holes in it is the hood, which must have come from another truck. Floors, fenders, roof, doors, bumpers......gone, unuseable. I do have a clear title for it. Thanks in advance....

Re: Parting a 1966 Chevrolet Panel
Chevy didn't have a V-6
as long as it isn't a 292, the engine perches are the same for the inlines and the V-8's you can tell if it is a 292 by the offset motor mounts, they won't be directly across from each other...

Re: Parting a 1966 Chevrolet Panel
Back up.
Still have the seats and the hood. I cut the truck up last weekend and saved all of the parts that were any good (not much).

Not much left of the truck now. Here is what I have left:
complete frame and all front end steering components. I have a rear end, but its from a 61 chevy. $100.00 250 inline 6 with 3 speed trans. Complete from carb to oilpan. Condition unknown. $50.00 Thats about it. Thanks,

Re: Parting a 1966 Chevrolet Panel
Sorry to be so impatient, but I am going to be at the Super Chevy show tomorrow. If we could agree on a price I could pick them up.
