Re: wind shield wipers

Sounds like mine, except I have a 3rd speed. It's called "Kicks on when it wants to." My wipers will kick on on their own while I'm driving, sitting listening to the radio, or anytime when I have the key on. One thing that is funny about it, it makes my girlfriend laugh whenever they kick on.

Thanks
Benjamin.

Re: wind shield wipers

that could be why the previous owner of my truck installed a toggle switch that cuts all the power to the wipers

Re: wind shield wipers

I'll be sure to let you know if it solves it. I haven't had any problems lately, but I'm more worried about my trans not shifting like it should.

Thanks
Benjamin.

Re: wind shield wipers

wait what the hell are you talking about? how does AC trannyshifting and all that have to do with washer motors?

im soo lost..
if your tranny is shifting like crap.. check the fluid...
the motors SHOULD be universal...
grounds need love too.. dont overlook them...
and im off to bed ive spent too much time here today...

Re: wind shield wipers

LMAO!!!
Sorry, I may have gotten a little off topic.
I probably haven't noticed my wipers lately because I have been listening to the pipes when it's time to shift. I've checked the fluid, added some, and it hasn't helped. I'll work on the wiper grounds tomorrow. I think I need a break.

Thanks
Benjamin.

Mine were the same replaced the motor assembly and they are working much better now, Napa and LMC sells the motor with the new washer pump for like $100 bucks, plus a core charge.

My hi speed seems like slow motion. The lo speed is useless on the freeway.
