Mainly wanting to see what's out there...

I might be looking for an original '69 (or other year if it matches) CST Rearview Mirror in either excellent driver condition or NOS. My has some pitting on the arm of the mount, and some discoloration of the mirror itself.

Let me know what you have, and please post pictures.

Guys, thank you for checking back with me on the mirror. I think that I either have a leftover '68 mirror, or it has been changed over the years. I will have to remove mine and see what's behind my mirror arm.

Here ya go. There is some pitting on the metal but not bad. I have not polished it or anything and the glass mirror is perfect, the reflection shows the broken back window.

Discoloration, like on the edge of the glass or the metal? I don't believe there is any of that but I will look a little closer for ya.

I had a guy in Oregon resilver mine. I disassembled it, sent it in, got it back and reassembled it and worked great. $40 plus shipping. Was a great deal and possible fix for you, I looked for perfect mirror for a long time! Did not find one but now mine is perfect and what it better, it is the original one!

Yes it was discolored like ALL old ones I have seen, around the edges. I bought several thinking I would get a good one but take my word for it, you have to look at it in person because pics somehow doesn't show them well. Good luck and let me know if you want details! Here are some better pictures. Doesn't appear to be any discoloration but the chrome is pitting as you can see.
