electrical issue

What switches the factory electrical fan on for the ac. I am talking about the fan in the grill that cools the system not the heater blower. I have no power to the fan at all.

Re: electrical issue

i d0 believe that would be the AC relay.......
what year truck?

the easiest way to find that problem would be
1) check fuses..
2) get a test light or multimeter and start chasing (backwards) from the fan to the origional powersource and find out where the voltage disappeared at (IE fuze/ broken wire, pack rats or previous owner)
also go to autozone.com they have basic electrical diagrams there for you to use.. and there should be a specific year/model diagram avail on the site if you do some looking... (stickys and electrical section)

if you need help on a multimeter lesson let us know we have those resources available also
