How can you tell?
I live in Dayton, so I could check it out if anybody is interested. If it is a real Chalet, I may check it out anyway. Just because.

Quote:
The Chalet campers are more flush with the widshield; they follow the angle of the windshiled too. This one overhangs. Also, the Chalet camper overhangs quite a bit off the back of the truck. They even have a second set of tail-lights because they cover the stock ones. This one looks to be flush with the rear of the truck. I have seen a few of these pop-top campers made specifially for a Blazer body and would like to find one locally. So instead of destroying an original (even though it would be rusted beyond reasonable repair) to put it on a more "modern" Blazer you could just drop it in. Which reminds me, with a Chalet it is a dedicated RV, the camper is not made to be removed. With an after market camper like this you could take the camper out and still have a Blazer. Would be great for camping to be able to have a vehicle to move about in with out having to take the whole campste with you.

Re: 1976 Blazer Chalet camper-(Dayton, TX)
Yep, my guess is it's either an aftermarket 4Wheel brand or Hallmark brand camper. If the RPO sheet in the Blazer's glovebox shows a "16T5 Chalet Camper Conver", then it had the factory camper to begin with, but more than likely it's just an ordinary Blazer.
