Its all in the gearing as most of these trucks came with the l6. This 1 has the 292 same as what i have in my 64.

It's just that, a compressor. Evidently it was used to pull a trailer with air brakes, since the truck obviously has hydraulic brakes(master cyl on firewall). It also has the trailer hoses still on the back of the cab.

Nice looking old truck, though. Wish I had the room and the money for one more. Not that far away from me either.
