P/S gear box kicked my ass today
P/S gear box on my 69 c10 was leaking bad out of pitman arm shaft. I done a few manual gear boxes reseal before. This p/s gear box is something else. I will put it back together so it will pass as a core and get a used box from pick a part this weekend. Reman box is insane at $250. Did anyone else have problems resealing and rebuilding one or is just me?

Re: P/S gear box kicked my ass today
Sorry, don't have an answer for you, but I have 2 boxes here that are nice, except one leaks out the bottom like yours, and the other at the top seal. I'd love to fix these, because I have a home for them, but have avoided it just for fear of running into problems ! I can rebuild a TH350 in my sleep, but these boxes are a different duck.
Hoping someone could give a detailed procedure on how to fix these !!!

I don't know if you have an autozone near you but was looking over there web site and saw they had rebuilt steering boxes for around $140.00. and about $100 or so more if you don't have the core.
