Clear Marker lights
OK guys I have seen many 80's with clear front marker lights but I can't seem to find any for my 86. Where can I get some from? Help

Re: Clear Marker lights
I'm sure that I've checked with LMC, but I'll have another look. Cheers.

Re: Clear Marker lights
The LMC ones all seem to have a yellow reflector in them. I was hoping to have completely clear side markers. I'm sure that I've seen them before. Thanks

Re: Clear Marker lights
This has been discussed before. The US Department of Transportation does not approve them without some amber in them. Your best bet would be to find a set on ebay or keep your eyes on craigslist for a set of used ones.

Re: Clear Marker lights
If your truck does not have amber lights in the front in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania your truck will fail the annual state inspection.

Re: Clear Marker lights
yeah, damn it, those are the ones. I knew I'd seen them before. You should probably sell those to me. I think they are legal here in Canada. Thank goodness for no inspections!

Re: Clear Marker lights
I have two sets of the old style clear front marker and tail lights. The markers i bought new, but a few years ago, so they may not be available anymore. The tails were hard to find. One set i bought off a member here, the other off EBAY. I believe they are illegal here as well, well in Alberta anyway. I have never had any issues tho.

Re: Clear Marker lights
i did my 04s in the oven at 140 degress for 8-10 mins then worked around them with a butter knife. if that dont work you can cut them at the seam with a dremel pop apart take out reflector and seal back up
