Removing a 1960-63 C60 dash

Well, I finally found a double-hump dash. It's in a C60 grain truck that's rusted beyond repair on the floor and rockers. My question is, how easy does it come out, and what is the best tool for the job? Thanks! Pics would be great!

Re: Removing a 1960-63 C60 dash

I think there's a couple of bolts on each side, but primarily spot welded along the pinch weld at the windshield
A spot weld cutter and some tapping fluid should get the job done
Trent
ps any chance the windshield is still good(ok you can stop laughing now)
LOL

Haven't actually seen the truck yet, it's out at a friends farm, but I'll check and let ya know. So to drill the pinch welds, if memory serves me correct, I remove the windshield and they're in there?

I replaced mine, yes when you remove the windshield you will see most of them. Just don't force it you can mess the dash up.Pain in the a$$ but you can change it with out not too much trouble. I used the spot welder from the eastwood company. Good luck!
