Autoline c935 carburetor, what is this

I bought a new carb for my 65 GMC. It has a 230, the new carb has a screw on the top of it that is loose and has a spring attached to it. It is next to the Manuel choke. Does any one have an idea what it is. The old original carb doesn't have this screw. thanks for the help.
