72 Cheyenne

I have a 72 Chevelle on Craigslist and someone asked me about a trade. My Chevelle is one my brother and I have started restoring. We always try selling the cars we work on in different stages of completion. If it doesn't sell this way, we try doing a little more work then try again. We were trying to get at least 5k out of it as it sits in primer. Since this is a longbed, I was thinking it was worth 3-4,000. I'm a 60-66 guy, so am I close?

I don't have any info on the 72 yet, just pics.
Here's my Chevelle:

Re: 72 Cheyenne

I don't know what to say on this one. I have a soft spot for 3/4 tons so my opinion may come into play, but if that truck is as clean in person as it is in the pics I'd say it's worth $5K. especially if it's original and has a/c and an auto. If that was in line and it had a big block to boot, I'd say for sure.

The problem is lack of info. Find out what options are on the truck, if it's 100% in working order, and how original it is. If you can post this stuff up we'd be able to give you much better feeed back.

Re: 72 Cheyenne

I can see in the pics (which I know you can't see here) that it has 350 badges. I'm getting more info soon.
