Re: How long do you all wait?
If he paid for it in full I guess you are his free storage unless you send him a storage bill.
If he spoke for it and never paid all bets are off. One of my buddies is famous for speaking for cars, trucks or parts and taking forever to show up an pay for them and pick them up. We even saw one of the cars he "bought" headed down the road on a trailer one day two years after he "spoke" for it. Mom taught me many years ago to write up a simple contract for anything I sell and take a deposit on with a time line and date that the item has to be picked up by. |

They are changing servers like northern said, but i use photobucket.com to host the pictures on, then it allows you to post them on here.

Re: How long do you all wait?
We are not able to post pictures for now according to an annoucement in the upper part of the page until the end of the month or so.
Real sorry to hear about all of your mis-fortunes. I hope things get better for you all. I guess it is up to you how long you want to hold the front clip. If the person has already paid for it I would think you would hold it until they were able to pick it up. They should let you know what is going on I would think. Danny

Re: How long do you all wait?
I once had a guy buy a truck from me and it included a parts truck. He hauled away the good one and said he would be back within two weeks for the other( I had it in writing). After about a month I started sending him emails in which he rarely replied to. I waited 6 months, sending emails the whole time. I finally sold the parts truck for a few $$. Out of the blue about a year later he called wanting his parts truck, and then when I told him I sold it he wanted the money.

Re: How long do you all wait?
Do not resell the parts unless you send him a letter by certified mail return receipt requested setting a date certain that he has to pick it up and letting him know you will sell it if he does not comply by that date and you will keep his payment as a storage/administrative fee. Make sure to CYA because he may sue you if you resell his stuff and fail to refund his money.
