Replace Coil Springs?
Are coil springs a 'wear' part? My stock ones seem ok, other than having 40years and 150K miles on them.
I am not lowering the truck. I want to replace the parts that need to be replaced, but I don't see any reason to replace parts that really don't need it. So, do I replace the coil springs, or blast and paint the stock ones? Thanks for any and all opinions/advice!

Re: Replace Coil Springs?
They will sag over time, but if you are comfortable with the ride height, there is no reason to replace them.

Re: Replace Coil Springs?
Thanks for the advice! Is there a way for me to tell if the springs are weak, once they are already out of the truck?
