Where can I find a rebuilt wiper motor for a 60 chevy pickup? I am in the final stages of a restoration and this has beenthe hardest part to find.

Re: 60-62 wiper motors?
I found a factory rebuilt unit on Ebay for my 1960. They do come up every now and then. It also helps if you can find interchange information since many sellers often don't know what they have.
If you want to upgrade to an aftermarket system, Newport Engineering makes two versions for the 60-66 trucks: https://www.newportwipers.com/produc...0-66&make_id=2 I had one of these systems in my 46 Ford sedan a number of years ago and it worked perfectly. They offer switch extensions that will allow it to fit in the factory dash hole, along with a delay option, and a built in washer pump switch. They're spendy, but NOS or rebuilt originals aren't all that easy to come by. And welcome to the forum from the Northwest! Last edited by markeb01; 11-21-2009 at 02:33 PM. |
