hey i just got done modifying the center support for my 73 grille i just couldnt find one around here took a little time but it can be done next step is the side brackets if i cant find them !!!

thx for the compliments fits good!!!i was bored the girlfriend wanted me to help her do things around the house like cleaning and cooking so i ran outside!!! and worked on the truck!!!!!!!!!

I'm guessing you need the correct support or modify for the 1973 grill?

you mean the side supports if so yes the center support is all done fitted using 78 plastic screw plugs !looking to either buy the side supports or make some up from pics if any one has a pic of them cool

so i found out that 73-74 trucks dont have the supports as in 78 trucks to to the left and right of the center support which i think is strange !! they only have the side one near the head lights , well i made these supports up because the mount supports are in the grill for them anyway they work and it very firm!!!! im waiting on the end supports from another member so i can tick the grille of the " what to do list" here is a pic

Any new progress on this? I am also wanting to put a 73-74 grill in my '78. Any more pics of the brackets would be greatly appreciated!
