Would this wheel tuck?

I found a wheel, it's 24x10 with a +12 (5.91bs). I have a '67 swb with a 5lug disc swap. I know the 22x10 with 6.29bs fit the back easy and the front but not sure if the 5.91 will be too much.

The 24's will stick out approximately 3/8" (6.290-5.910=.380") more that the 22"s by your backspace numbers.

Got room to come out 3/8"?

Re: Would this wheel tuck?

I have pics from a wheel I had put on to see if it fit. The tire hit the little pinch weld on my front fenders. About an inch of my tire was touching my fender. The 3/8 inch will be so close it's hard to tell really without waiting for 3 months for the wheel to be off backorder.

Well, found a possible tire, 275/25/24. It's 2.71 sidewall height, and 29.5dia. If I can do a 24 that's my tire.

I don't know of anyone running a tire that big that posts here very often. It's easy enough to measure. Make your wheel/ tire out of plywood, bolt it up, and whip out a tape measure.

Re: Would this wheel tuck?

LOL. I think I'll order a wheel in, pay freight on one and see if it fits. If not I'm out a few bucks.

Personally I would think it wold be worth your time to mock it up. I know I could have it done in less than an hour, for free. That beats paying for freight any day of the week in my book.
