1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
Hey guys,
Was wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head the dimensions of the stock bench seat? My truck is still in Cali (coming up in January) and I cant measure it. So if anyone knows and can post it up that would be great! Thanks -Matt |

The bench seat brackets holes are 47" apart.
57 1/2" x 20 1/2" for seat bottom. 57 1/2" x 21" for top part. roughly |

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
I like that style of seat (the lotus) I found them on summit racing but no center console, then was searching and came up with that site. They respond fast to my questions I asked which is a good thing, plus you can add all sorts of options to the seats!

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
I like how they attach to a frame and then that frame is a bolt in with the correct adapters. Which is a good think since there are fuel tanks underneath.. nice not having to drill!
Plus those seats look great for taking some serious corners. |

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
Ya I emailed the guy to see how they exaclty mount to the factory seat mounts and if they make the seats sit up much higher then the factory.
Going to have to measure myself to make sure I "fit" into those seats, I should but If not looks like I have to go with another setup they have. I also like how the center console with those seats has alot of storage space. which is nice in a single cab! |

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
I may go with these ones rather then the lotus seats, seeing how they dont stick up past the window...

They arent the lotus but they are high like that and have a center consol. I dont like how tall they are and I just like bench seats alot.

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
I like those too... but these are nice as well.. price good and the support looks nice. I just wonder how high they'd go up past the window.

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
Ya I to dont like seats that are really tall that stick up past the window, I like the bench seats but I need an arm rest/ center console of some sort. I dont care for the consoles you can buy that just sit on the seat thats not the same.

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
Same here.. I have a cheap cup holder on the floor.. it aint cutting it! I need a good center console with cup holders and storage.. plus my bench fabric shot so this is a great upgrade all around.

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
Ya I think I might go with the lowback seat that I posted.. keeps it low profile and still uses the same consoles as the other seats.. Its going to have to come after my wheels though! lol..
Dudewith4x4, what rip are you talking about? confused.. |

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
On the top of the dash. There are some holes for a vent or a speaker. My dash is ripped there. All truck I looked at have the same ripped. Has anyone used dash covers?

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
The holes are for the factory center speaker. I don't like the dash covers but I have seen where some have them and fit nice and can't really tell it is just a cover. Depending on your plans for the truck, I had my dash covered with leather for less than the cost of a cover.
Thanks stryker for link to that web site, I am looking to swap seats soon and they seem to have nice looking seats. Last edited by thrtsxchambers; 12-20-2009 at 07:25 PM. |

Re: 1986 Chevy C10 Bench Seat Dimensions?
A local shop here in N.C. I think the name is custom classic interiors. I saw some of his work on other vehicles when I stopped by to talk to him and was hooked, he does good work and not too expensive.
