See if you can tell me what that metal thing is on the rear fender, just in front of the tire:

Yeah that is a rock chip guard. The one in the pic is aftermarket. From the factory they were like a vinyl film that was on there. The one that is on the truck in the pic looks good. Really goes well with the other chrome on the truck.

OK, well basically I want that thing, and I can't seem to figure out where to find it, or if what i'm looking at is what I think it is.

Here's the guard from LMC truck vs the Picture.
Is that the same thing? Do you order two of them, and are they identical, or is there a left and a right?

Yup that's it. The picture in LMC does not show it installed exactly where it's supposed to go, but that is what they look like. Cheers.

There always seems to be NOS ones on eBay...if you want a pair, you can't beat GM fit.
