Need fuel line help quick
I need to know what size the rubber hose is that is between the bottom of the tank & the steel line - it is about 12'' long. Mine is dripping gas all over my driveway as I type this.

Re: Need fuel line help quick
It could be 5/16" or 3/8" hose. It depends on the engine size that you have.
350 ci and larger engines came with 3/8" gas lines. Jim

Re: Need fuel line help quick
As already mentioned...5/16" line if was originally a 6 cylinder truck or V8 with a 2 barrel. 4 barrel V8's got a 3/8" line I believe.
If you need it fixed immediately, buy 12" of both sizes. You may want to pick up some small hose clamps while you are at it.

Re: Need fuel line help quick
originally a 6 cyl., now a V8. My best bet, I guess, will be to by one of each and see what fits. Thanks guys.
