clutch linkage help?
i am converting to a 4 speed from an auto so i am having to run the clutch linkage
i wanted to know if there is any mods i have to make to the linkage since i am running a 350 instead of the i6 |

The linkage should be the same for a I6 or a V8. The one difference is the ballstud, you'll need to get one that screws into the block at the forward position. The one for the I6 is swedged into the bracket that bolts to the I6 block.
If you're running headers, that may pose another issue with the bellcrank, depending on the headers.

Yes it is right there by the dip stick. You can certainly drill and tap the block as long as the boss is there.

I don't know off hand since I've not had to drill and tap one. I would suggest getting a ballstud and measure it. You don't want to drill too deep or you'll get into the water jacket. You may find that you will need to finish the threads with a bottom tap after you've gone as far as you can with a starting tap.
