Window to regulator mount thingy
Does anyone know where to get the bracket that attaches the window to the regulator arms? My drivers window is missing it for some reason so when I go over a bump too fast BANG the window falls to the bottom of the door...

If the window setting channel is missing, the window will not stay up, so are you sure this is what you are missing? The setting channel may be at the bottom of the door. The glass is secured with glass setting tape in the setting channel, so it will continue to fall out, if it is not secured properly. Let me know if I can help. |

Re: Window to regulator mount thingy
Window setting channel is what its called? Its black clamps/sets to the bottom of the window and has two long slots in it right? Just makin sure we're talkin the same thing. The window sits on the two things that go into the slots of the channel right now and it stays in place when its all the way up or if I have pressure on it i.e. resting my arm on it as I drive. Otherwise it keeps falling.

Re: Window to regulator mount thingy
It has a horizontal "C" channel, facing in, that the rollers from the window regulator go into and a horizontal "C" channel, facing up, that the door glass sits in and is secured by setting tape. Two rollers from the window regulator run along the "C" channel and a single roller from the window regulator run along the "C" channel mounted to the interior of the door. I believe we are talking about the same thing, so let me know if I can help. Take care and good luck.
