Maybe a 3.73, you can also check it be turing the back wheels off the ground and count the drive line on how many times it turns with one full turn of the wheel. That should get you close. Or I am sure someone on here will tell you something..

I'm not sure about 3.73's.
That seems pretty steep for a stock 2wd.

Unfortunately I can't count the revolutions just yet.
My Blazer is still in the LA warehouse waiting to be shipped over here.
It'll be at least another month before I get to see it ..................

Re: ´82 Blazer 2wd what rear gear was standard

According to my Chevrolet Dealer price schedule it goes like this-

4.2 LE3 L6-
3.08 standard
3.42 (optional)

5.0 LE9 V8-
2.73 standard (CA Emissions)
3.08 standard (Standard Emission)
3.42 (optional Standard Emission only)
3.73 optional (must be ordered with Z82 trailering package)

Whats odd is the chart says that the 3.73 was N/A with G80 locking dif.
