Re: I need side trim
lmc truck sells repro 62-66 trim, you would probably have to piece together a set to fit on your crew, the sell all the pieces seperate, or in a kit... maybe if you tell them what you are doing they might sell you a kit with a few extra door pieces to fit the crew....
1800 lmc truck

Re: I need side trim
Mar-K dosn't make side trim. Not that I could find anyway. The truck and car shop had side molding kits also. $319 for the short bed and $329 for the long bed, that includes clips also. http://www.truckandcarshop.com/trucks60_72/t60_059.html .. A little bit more at LMC truck. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cbe/full.aspx?Page=19

Re: I need side trim
Mar-K makes quite a few mouldings so do other companies. Mar-k's the best in quality. We sell their moulding but I would just buy from them being vendors here. Their are other companies making the moulding and suppliers are offering it for less but it is not the same quality. I have some NOS perfect front points in stock and the ones from Mar-k are far better quality than OEM. Alot of companies sell Corvex brand

Re: I need side trim
ha ha. very funny.
i was searching for mar-k trim feedback and found this thread. i think i'll go with them if i get the 65 i'm looking at. how many of the small window trucks had fleet beds and molding? it seems most of them have the big window but i may be wrong. |

Re: I need side trim
cris well you could get mouldings on any fleetside truck when new.most trucks had the small back glass as it was standard equipment.the big window was an option.most big windows were highly optioned and had all the chrome trim, but many more small window custom cab trucks were built than the big window.the factory option number for the fleetside trim was b98.when these trucks were new the side trim was an extra $45 back in the day.

Re: I need side trim
I just got my side mouldings, front bed panel, SS bed strips, and SS bolt kit from MAR-K. I haven't installed them yet, but they look really good. I was really impressed with the front bed panel. A couple of vendors actually had side moulding sets that attach with adhesive pads. MAR-K does use the holes and clips, which I felt better about.
