I am at the point in my project 53GMC that I need to learn how to delete the ABS from my truck....but i have NO CLUE!! The reason i want to do so is because that huge box under the hood takes up a lot of room and I need to cut down on some space...

If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it....I need steps, what re-wiring steps to take (colors to cut if year model is the same) and ANY and ALL info to help me.....I am lost and dependin on you great fellas again...Thanks to everyone in advance.

help me help myself!!

From what I know the ABS is on it's own stand alone computer which should be somewhere by the ABS pump? If so you can remove the computer, all wiring, pump, and block, and plumb the brakes straight to your proportional valve.

Pump should have the brake lines going to it, be cast aluminum and have a black cover on it from what I remember.
