Flywheel Inspection Cover
Ok...didn't get a response so let me be more specific. I'm missing the bottom steel cover to my bell housing. It's a three speed Saginaw transmission mated to a 250 six. Does anyone know what other engine/transmission set ups went with this housing? It seems to me that this housing would fit other six cylinder engines as well as some V-8's. Just need to know what to look for, Thanks.

Re: Flywheel Inspection Cover
I believe they started using that style of bellhousing in 1955 trucks. It was used last in the 1972 model year trucks. I think they used a similar bellhousing in the passenger cars from '55 thru the early 60's?
