wheel adapters

anyone use wheel adapters to convert there rear end to 5 lug. if so how thick and what brand? any info or comments.

I have a set of four. The problem is that the 6 to five bolt adapters are a 2 piece design, and are about two inches thick. This creates a clearance problem with fleetsides. so on my ,aplication 60 long fleetside , the wheels I had planed to use (Astro Supreams standard off set) would not fit as they would rub.
