Need Pics Glove Box Door
My 66 did not have a glove box door, one of the previous owners apparently removed it for some reason. I picked up another door at a swap meet, but I do not have any hardware with it. I need some pics to show me what the hinges, etc look like so I can see how they attach. The door has a bolt on each side where it might hinge, but is there anymore to it? I don't see in my dash where these would attach so I must be missing some brackets. I need to see what else I am missing.
Thanks for any help.

Go to the LMC Trucks website ( www.lmctrucks.com ) and look for the page that shows the Glove box ! It should show the layout and you'll be able to see what's missing . Good luck !

Thats the first place I looked. It doesn't show what I need to see, but good idea.

Re: Need Pics Glove Box Door
I can look at my '65 and try to describe the layout if you like ? My daughter will be here shortly and I could ask her to take pics ( if she has her camera with her ) and email them to you .

Here you go! i just did mine! the piece that you are missing is the bracket that goes across..you can see it in between the door and the glove box..it screws in on the sides and on the door it self..just remember to get the bushings that go in between the door and bracket.

Re: Need Pics Glove Box Door
Hey thanks that's what I needed. I actually do have the bushings with the screws. Now that I know what it's supposed to be, I can always make a similar bracket if I can't find one. Thanks for the help!
