drop spindles need help

ok so im getting ready to drop my truck and wanted to know if you can use the stock drums on drop spindles from ''lmc'' and i dont have the loot for the disk set up? any info would help!!

Sorry, none of the drop spindles currently being sold will let you mount a stock backing plate. The discs don't really have to cost all that much, though. You can get almost everything you need from a salvage yard. Rebuild the MC and calipers or use them as a core exchange on rebuilt units. Buy new hoses though - the old ones are just too much of a risk.

You will need wheels that clear the calipers if you still have the stock 15". Any 16" or larger will work, or 15" made for discs.

For the money you would spend on drop spindles, you could likely get a complete disc brake front suspension. You could go that route, get the front discs under your truck and driving and then get the drop spindles later. They're not that hard to swap out.
