Post Stupid me...

Anyone know what has a passanger side output shaft on a Chevy / GMC transfer case? I thought the NP205 and 203 did. Am I right or wrong the one I just picked up is driverside.

I did some looking into the hole thing tonight and Im alot more calm now. To start out 3 weeks ago I picked up a SM465 trans and NP205 Tcase. I went to put them together and couldnt for the life of me see how they went together.I took them to a local trans shop and had them look into it. After 2 weeks in the shop I found out they didnt go together without some addapters. Lots of $$$. Thats where I was earlier today. I called the guy I got them from and he said he had one all bolted up and I could swap it. So I went and picked it up and brought it home only to realize the output was on the driver side and I needed the passanger side. Thats when I really got frustrated. I have spent my budget at this point and didnt know what to do. Anyway after some work tonight I found out that I actually now have a SM420 Trans and a NP205. I have pulled off the Tcase and am going to swap it tomorrow for one with the correct output. Assuming they have one. All in all I feel alot beter about it all and am thrilled to have the SM420 instead of the SM465.

I wonder what chevy had a drivers side pumpkin? Sounds like a Ford 205 hangin off the back of your 420.
