Cam Suggestions???

dont know if ya''ll had read my post "blown head gasket" or not. but apparently i have a worn or flat lobe in my cam. i will be installing a new one shortly.

any ideas on a cam? i have the late '87 TBI 350 5.7. its been bored 30 over, it has flat top pistons, double roller timing chain, some magnum roller tip rockers, headers, and thats about it.

i also have a holley TBI that im going to put new injectors in, and probably bore out the stock manifold to 2" to fit correctly.

tranny is 700r4 and i have stock gears, i think 273, in the rear.

i have in it now the comp cams extreme energy part# 12-256-4. its a hydraulic flat tappet. this cam crapped out on me with only 8k miles on it because i didnt know i had to add zinc to my oil!!!!!

any ideas on a nice torqy cam that will work good with what i have??

thanks!

Re: Cam Suggestions???

go to lmc.com and look at their smog legal cams. Get the specs and look at another dealer for cheaper!!

here are some computer compatable camspic what you like but i would recomend still getting a custom built chip for every thing thats done to your truck just to make it run better overall.
