generic VIN question

good evening gents -quick VIN question. Pic attached. Understand the VIN just fine - any idea what the "00" after the word Chevrolet means?

That is actually DD and I understand, from other sources and web sites, it stands for Delivery Date. I was looking through my VIN plates the other day and noticed one of them actually had a lightly inscribed date month & year, following the DD.

yes I think the consensus was delivery date, mine has a date stamped after the DD.
