I6 Exhaust?
Hello everyone, I'm looking for an exhaust system for my Inline 6. I've seen a couple people use a V8 trucks rear section and having dual exhaust. I'd rather show off my inliner by only have one pipe front to back exiting at the rear bumper and not in front of the rear wheel like it is now. Currently the only thing I've found is a walker replacement exhaust from advance auto. Here are the links.
Front section http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...S_915555018___ Rear section http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...S_915551291___ The issue with these are I'm gonna assume they are 2 1/4 and visually you can see they are crimp bent... not what I would want but oh well. They other issue is I can't tell if the these are stock photos or they just are bolt in affairs?? Cause there is no mounting flange on the front pipe and it doesn't look like it goes up high enough to connect with the engine. The issue with the rear pipe is does it exit straight out or to the side behind the rear wheel? Anybody else have any suggestions I would just buy a pre bent pipe, but if I do that it better damn well fit!! My other thought is to just buy a builders kit of summit racing and bust out the welder. |

Re: I6 Exhaust?
Hey nice pic! Mines a 64 but that set up looks dead on with the rear section of the advance auto Walker replacement. Hmmm looks like I'll be making the rear section. Now i just gotta figure out the front. Thanks for posting!
