In need some measurments
I sure could use some help.
I need someone with 56" real leaf springs to measure from front hanger to rear hanger. Doesn't matter where you measure from as long as you can tell/show me what point on the front to what point on the rear you measured. I sold my '80 short bed now I don't have anything to go by while changing my crew to 56" springs. Thanks!!

Re: In need some measurments
Just move the rear hangers back...there are already holes on the frame for them. Also, if you have sport bumper brackets on the frame...the rear hangers butt up nicely to them.

Re: In need some measurments
55-3/8" from the center of the front hanger bolt to the center of the rear hanger bolt. The bolts that run through the springs, that is.

I looked and didn't see any holes further back. Quote:
So, just to be clear in my mind, that measurement is from the front hanger spring bolt hole to the rear hanger shackle bolt hole?

Re: In need some measurments
Sorry, yes, the rear is measured to the hole in the hanger itself, where the shackle bolt goes through, NOT the spring bolt.
