Headlights taillights dash lights not working anymore

1979 silverado 454. Changed starter, Now lights not working. Got brake lights.Changed light switch, Still nothing. Replaced relay fuses, Still nothing.
Please help. THANK YOU.

you didn't leave a wire off of the starter? or a broken wire? fuseable link, my 85 did that and one of the two hot wires off the stater was broken inside not sure how many wires a 79 has but just a thought

There is a wire loose somewhere. The wire that controls those functions wasn't hooked to power on the starter when i got my truck.

Unhook the wires from the starter. Pull the wires out through the metal loom they are in behind the engine. Replace the fusible link or broken wire. Chances are either the fuse link blew or broke because its old and brittle or you didnt hook a wire up.
