Help with bags

Just bought me a 1972 2wd blazer it is in good shape. Just put a set of coy wheels to start now trying to figure out the suspension. Want to bag it but can only find ART parts to work, stuff looks good but I think it's a little to expensive. Can anyone help or do I have to fork out the big bucks?

Re: Help with bags

check out threads in this suspension section but the short of it is you can put bags in the spring locations for fairly cheap and run scrhader valves. A c-notch will get max rear drop w/out more mods to fenders, etc and drop spindles do the same for the front...

from there it's all about how low you want to go.....and how much money you want to spend

Re: Help with bags

I have been told by local places that putting the bags in place of the coils is not the way to go. They say that I need to put the entire cool ride system on to do it proper HELP

Re: Help with bags

They are trying to get more money out of you...please take the time to do a search of this board and you will find COUNTLESS high quality builds that simply used bags in place of the springs. In the rear you need nothing other than the bolts and drilling holes. In the front you use a plate and cup or just two plates...just that simple. There are $50K rides with suspensions installed like that....
