8" with 35 pics. 67-72
Anyone running an 8" lift with 35's? I currently have a 6" with 35x12.50's and they rub when I turn. I'm wanting to go with some 35x13.50's soon and am thinking about doing an 8" lift when I do it. Anyone have pics of 35's with an 8" on a 67-72?
Thanks, Nova

Will a 1'' body lift fix the rubbing problem?

i rub 38's with a 6" on my k5 (minor trimming)....there some rubbing when its at full lock but a body lift (1") should fix that.

Nova70 I used a chop saw and made the blocks the size I wanted. You'd have to get different bolts.

That's for a K5 though? Will it work on a pickup?

Re: 8" with 35 pics. 67-72
they only make 2 or 3 inch body lifts. i put a six inch suspension lift in a 72 blazer for someone with the entension of puting 35s on the truck but my freind found set of 40s inch tires and we put them on there instead and they clear with no problem with a six inch lift

Re: 8" with 35 pics. 67-72
The kit wouldn't, but you could buy the individual pucks. You would probably have to take all your bolts to a bolt store and buy them an inch longer also. And to anybody who says there is no such thing as a 1'' body lift, please look at my link above. All a body lift is, is a puck you put between your body and frame. They are a pretty universal fit, and 1'' for one truck is 1'' for another truck. |

Anyone here think a c10 with an 8'' and 36's would be too much for a serious trail truck?

Re: 8" with 35 pics. 67-72
most serious trail trucks that ive seen run 4-6" of lift and 37-40ish size tires....but everyones opinion varies as far as "too much"
what type of trails are we talking about? |

Re: 8" with 35 pics. 67-72
Racin- Yours is the only one I've seen with an 8" and 35's. Do you have any other pics? I would love to see a pic from the side. The tires I'm thinking I want to run are Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ SLT's in a 35x15.50x20
