Swervin Ervin
Mike, i got my timing stright. it is even set at 12*. now i still dont know total and what rate , i can do that later now but NO WOT SPARK KNOCK.
what i did was knowing i needed to limit the travel on those advance pins, awhile back i bought an advance limiter kit by MOROSO. well when tried it before , i ground some of the metal from the advance plate trying to make these bushings work. well it wouldnt work, it would limit enough travel. well sense i put another distributor, i put the bushings back on with the smallest one (RED) and it was perfect. it runs great down the freeway, part throttle, acceleration. everything. i am even getting better milage. maybe i ought to just leave it alone. i have CRANE springs though (MEDIUM/ HEAVY)

Way to go Jeff. I knew you would get figured out. I wouldn't leave it alone. Now you can get it set to a performance rate.
Keep me informed on how every goes and if you decide mess with it anymore.

Don't bother me. I'm pretty well used to it by now.
