Software programs
Howdy
I am looking for info on software programs to run on a laptop for reprogramming and diagnostics, I have Autoenginuity and the OTC genisys, That I am aware of they don't reprogram. I teach an auto tech class and HOPE to install a 5.3 in a 49 Chevy as a class project, Any good, bad, ugly,do's don'ts you have is greatly appreciated. Joe |

Two of the popular programing softwares are HPtuner and EFIlive.
I use HPtuner and it's pretty easy to learn how to use, but takes a lot of reading/learning to figure out what to do with it. To get you up and running though, it's easy. |

I also have HP tuners. You will be happy with either that or EFI Live. Both will handle anything you would build for class. Check out their repective forums and see which you like better.
