What's up here?

Hey, I've heard you can cut some off of the SD cups, so I was mocking it up to see how much. It looks like the bag is already hitting in the back against the arm, in the front against the bumpstop stand and all around the top against the plate when deflated. I've always heard you don't want any rubbing even when deflated. So, can you tell me what's going on here? I'm running dominators.

Normally you can cut the cup down to a total height of 1-5/8".
The bumpstop bracket will have to be removed and ground smooth.

What size Dominator bag is that?
2B6, 2B7, or bigger?

I'm pretty sure they are 2600's. Got them when SD was running a special a while back.

Re: What's up here?

Any other thoughts. I'm wondering if it will stop rubbing on the back when I cut the bumpstop off.

I know there are guys running cups and stock arms. Anybody?

Re: What's up here?

I haven't put my cups and bags in yet, but it looks like your cup is sitting higher in the front than the rear...but maybe I'm way off.

The dominator bags touch each other on the bellows just as they are touching the top plate and LCA, so I would imagine that this is not an issue.
