Info on a 3 link
I am building a 53 and would like to hear how a 3 link wishbone compares to a triangulated 4 link. I am looking at suicide doors superlift tri-4 link and there superlift 3 link. Also would want to put the lowers on the inside of the frame for tire clearance. Will that have a big effect on either of the two. Thanks in advance.

Re: Info on a 3 link
Man I wish I could answer your question,... but I can't.
Are the AD truck frames wide enought to support a triangulated 4-link,... and work correctly? Most I have seen run a parallel 4-link. I would give SD a call and get their input. You might post your question over in the '47-'59 Section. Anyone else?

Re: Info on a 3 link
I have seen the 3 link on s10s so I fugured it would work on my 53. Just wondered how it would ride and handle compared to a tri4. The truck will about a 450 hp small block and if I can find one a t56 6 sp. So hooking up would be a good thing.

Re: Info on a 3 link
Technically they are both doing about the same thing depending on the upper wishbone design but.... its all in the geometry....
