No one has a nice fitting hood. They all require a lot of work. I have bought 2 of them. Unlimited products and US glass is both of the company's.
I wish Harwood would stop being so stubborn and make one!

Re: Fiberglass hood for a 1967

I went to a car show and when we were getting ready to leave, i took the prop rods out and lowered the hood. I put the prop rods in the truck, then my boy had to use the restroom real bad. So i took him to the restroom, then he was real thirsty, so we went and got us some drinks. Then after that we stopped and talked to some friends. I loaded him up, buckled him up then we took off. I stopped at a stop sign a little way outside of town and hammered on it and it blew over the truck and broke nearly every corner on the hood. My boy was laughing and he thought it was cool. I felt like throwing up... I forgot to zeus it down...

I had/have an ultimat products..very heavy and ill fitting. I just gota VFN hood. weighs less than 10 lbs and is csat off a real hood. Fits perfect. They only sell flat hoods but will install a scoop for a fee. It was less than 300 bucks

Re: Fiberglass hood for a 1967

My hood flew off too. I guess I didn't have enough dzues fasteners in the right places and it ripped the rivets right out of the anchors(where it bolts to the truck). Luckily it parachuted down softly and only had a few cracks. I'm saving up for a new one though.

Re: Fiberglass hood for a 1967

I would suggest doing a bit of research before buying any fiberglass body parts, particularily a hood. Go over to the '60-'66 section and find twiggythedrummer's thread on his GMC. He has had major problems with his 'glass hood.
