opinions on this combo

I've pretty much settled on these parts:350 bored .020,AFR vortec 190cc,rpm air gap,holley 670 cfm,between 9.7-10:1 compression.I'm wondering about the cam.What do ya'll think of these two? Lunati #60110 with 211/219 duration @ .050 with 507/515 lift OR Lunati#60112 with 231/239 duration @ .050 with 535/550 lift. Truck is a 61 short with 3.90 rear and a TKO-600 tranny and 27'' tall tires.Planning on running power brakes so the question is "which cam would you pick and why?"All opinions/advice wil be appreciated!

you're gonna need that 550 lift cam to make those heads work. you want to stick with 1.5 rockers instead of 1.6's to keep it at the 550 mark.

you have nice parts but the cam, you want power brakes, and you have 390 gear and an overdrive.
with those heads you want lift under the peak.. and that will mean a hyd roller..
it will get the valve open wider faster. and let you use those heads..
what lobe sep angle you thinking of .. 104/106/110/112/114/???????

That is a rather large difference between cams..

What is your intended use of your truck?
Is it a max effort street ride?
Is it a daily driver/hot rod?
What rpm are you comfy spining it too?

I have the Lunati 60110 roller cam and Lunati retro lifters in a 9.5:1 350 with Edelbrock RPM heads,[I had to change valve springs to a (small) dual w/dampner] crane gold rockers,Edelbrock 650, 3:73 rear 700r4 trans.

It has plenty of vacuum for power brakes, idles smooth but has plenty of power/torque down low. I like it personally but probably could have went 1 step up.

You might want to consider the Lunati 60111.

•Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 270/278
•Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 219/227
•Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .515/.530
•LSA/ICL: 112/106

I forgot to mention this was going to be a roller camThe smaller cam(507/515)has an LSA of 112;the larger(535/550) has an LSA of 110.Would I be better off going with 180cc heads?I picked the 190 heads for a possible future 383 upgrade.Thanks!

The truck will be used just for fun/hotrod(unless my new truck breaks down!)I'm planning on getting the rotating assembly balanced so I guess 6200 rpm isn't out of the question.Thnks!

What kind of h.p. did you get out of your combo?It sounds like its working well for you.I just dont know what to expect from either of these cams,I dont want my truck to be like trying to drive a dragster through town yet I would like it to be fast!Thanks for your reply

If it helps you out any I'm running a 218/228 @.050 .525 lift and 112 LSA roller in a 355 and it runs the power brakes just fine, heck I get 12 mpg pulling my boat with it.

if you're going 383 later the bigger cam will not "seem " as big as in the 350
