Air bag valves

Is anyone running manifold style valves like this? Any pros or cons to them? I see a lot of pros, just want to hear about the cons

I've heard that when one valve goes the whole assembly is junk.

The concept alone should be apealing to most. I like the idea that its all neat and organized.

Using the term "AIR ENGINE " to describe it makes me think of AIM/Chassis Tech. If that is the case then do extensive research on AIM, Chassis Tech, airbaggit.com or whatever alias they are hiding behind this week.

Why do they have so many names? I was wondering the same thing is it just a bunch of company's that got bought out or just merged together?

It all seems to be the same place. Im just looking for people that are using them or have used them and see what they say. Im leaning that way and I found a wide range of prices.

If you go with the Air Ride Tech or AccuAir manifold you will have many many years of trouble free use and yes they are serviceable to boot!

My friend is running the accuair manifold in his caddy. The biggest pro is a clean and more simple installation with the plumbing and wiring. It's only been a month since the install, and it's been trouble free so far. IMO, the valves in a air suspension system isn't the place to try and save money on...to much "riding" on em if you know what I mean.

Understand, im just talking about the style, not the price. Im a fan of you get what you pay for. A median price for these are around $400.

On my set up, I have 8 separate valves, but that's only because I took them from my bro's ride and couldn't pass up a free set. If I were to have purchased valves, I would have went with a manifold style for a clean and simple install.

To me the Air Ride "Big Red" valves are just too fast being 1/2 inch. I love the Accuair manifold. Clean, sealed, and 3/8 ports...perfect! $400 would be a SWEET price for these. Either way, this is the route I'm going. I've seen the cheaper ones, but the last thing I want to be doing is to be hunting down leaks in a manifold. Grrrrrr!

Umm. My Big Red valves are 3/8 ports. The feed into the manifold is a 1/2 port.

I just used that as an example. Im going with 3/8 valves. I have also priced out single valves too. That what I did for my 65, but I only had front and rear seperated(4 valves total). I wont do that again.

yeah we only used 1/4 ride pro or 3/8 big red at A.R.T no 1/2

if yall want manifolds for around $400 look at asco's.

I sell them all day every day. Awesome valve.

and a little FYI, ART big reds are basically Asco's, for 435365756x the price.

The big red are not ascos they are a bubble tight valve designed and built specifically for A.R.T by parker and are a bubble tight valve along with the ride pro valves which has a zero leak down tolerance unlike many others that have an alotted leak tollerance

I've have both ART and ascos completely apart. If they aren't the same they are damn close. I know the solenoids on bigreds are betters, but the valve bodys are very, very similar if not the same.

funny how if you order enough ascos you can get custom colors and engraving....

have you seen ascos and big reds taken apart side by side before?

or are you trying to justify all the money you spent on ART gear?

I don't need to to justify anything. I bought ART products because I wanted quality and don't mind paying for it. I can't tell you anything about whats inside the valves because I have never had a need to take mine apart.

Jon on the other hand spent several years working for Ride Tech, so I can safely speculate he knows a bit more about those valves than both of us combined...
