Finally bought the Harbor Freight Tool Cart
Been getting tired of no more space for tools. Storage room in my tool boxes finally maxed out where it was becoming a pain to add anything to them. So when I saw this item on a Harbor Freight 'daily sale special' for $129.99 last night I tried to purchase on-line to later pick-up at the store. Only problem, couldn't get their web site to take the coupon discount from 149.99. Stopped in today after work and they sold it to me for the 'daily special' price I saw last night. (tried for the 99.99 special price)
Granted, I remember seeing it once for 99.99 and missed that sale too. Yet I recall reading some good feedback on its overall quality and have looked at it before. Actually a decent roll-around tool cart once assembled and sturdy. Drawers function with no problem, lock works and actually the thing is heavier than it looks. Not flimsy at all. Since what I really wanted was cheap drawer and storage space to take some of the overflow from the Craftsman boxes this should do it for now and put organization back to where it needs to be. Was an easy assemble and no problems if anyone considers one of these. Pondering some modifications down the road but at least for now this will work for its intentions. I was really surprised though at just how heavy it is and sturdy. Even the casters are better than many on more expensive boxes. This one even came with the liners from the top to the lower shelf...and that was a surprise. A thumbs up. No complaints. Mark
